CGI seeks tech partners to accelerate client journeys to net zero

CGI (NYSE: GIB) (TSX: GIB.A) is calling for organisations to apply to join its Digital Climate Technology Partner Ecosystem and support the acceleration of net zero journeys for businesses, communities and infrastructure providers in Britain.

Organisations with digital solutions, including software and devices, that enable positive net zero outcomes are encouraged to apply.

Successful applicants must have a B2B or B2C proposition, be ready to deploy their solutions with a live client example and be able to demonstrate proof of net zero outcomes. Additionally, organisations should have a focus on the North of England.

The call for partners aligns with CGI’s support of COP26 and the need for businesses to quickly and effectively adopt solutions that will accelerate progress towards net zero.

Rich Hampshire, Vice President Consulting at CGI, said: “Climate change should be at the top of the agenda for every business and, at CGI, we’re committed to delivering our own net zero goal as well as helping other businesses and our communities do the same.

“This is why we’re encouraging organisations with innovative, digital solutions to apply to become part of our Partner Ecosystem, and work with us to empower businesses, communities and infrastructure providers, particularly in the North of England, on their net zero journeys.

“We look forward to hearing from businesses of all sizes and seeing the potential they have to help us address the greatest challenge of our time: to create a sustainable planet for future generations.”

Successful applicants will be invited to join CGI’s Digital Climate Tech Partner Ecosystem and be featured in a CGI showcase in Glasgow during COP26.

One organisation per category will also have the opportunity to participate in a joint proposition and go-to-market planning session with CGI focused on the North of England. The organisation will also receive business mentoring and a climate charity project donation made on their behalf.
